Shorty Howell Park gives the community access to a small lake, pavilion, playground, baseball/softball fields, football/multi-purpose field, and a 1.25-mile paved multi-purpose trail, as well as an activity building that houses a large community room with catering kitchen and classroom.

Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation operates 45 parks and facilities and has one of the most ambitious greenspace programs in the nation with over 9,000 plus acres of park land.

The parks include several historic sites and museums to help you explore the past and enjoy Gwinnett County history. On an average day, the Community Recreation Centers are filled with a multitude of activities and events for infants to senior citizens.
