The county’s largest park with over 2,000 acres features the Recreation Facility that houses an ice area, four tennis courts and an indoor walking and jogging track. Other recreational facilities include a ball field complex consisting of one baseball and five softball fields, a horse rink, horseshoe courts, walking and hiking trails, a 22-acre lake to fish year round, non-motorized boating, with picnic tables and playgrounds at various sites throughout the park. An outdoor activity center features an in-line skating rink, action/skate park, two basketball and four tennis courts. There is a one-mile paved, outdoor walking track and a fenced dog park, both open year round.
The Bradys Run Lodge and the park’s 15 picnic shelters are available to rent for a modest rental fee from Memorial Day weekend through September. Special events, parties and weddings of up to 400 guests can be held at the Lodge.
Edward L. Calland Arboretum Trail & Programs- Bradys Run County Park
The Arboretum Trail is located at Shelter #12 in Bradys Run Park and is three-quarters of a mile long. Free programs at the Arboretum area are held March thru September by the Beaver County Conservation District. The walking trail can be enjoyed year round.
